Class 12 Science Chapter 1 “Up in the Sky” summary
Chapter 12: “Up in the Sky” is about the object that we see in sky. We usually see the sun, moon and stars in the sky.
- The Sun: The Sun gives us light and heat during the day. It rises only in the morning from the east and set toward the west. It is located very far from us. It looks like a round hot ball but due to it brightness we can’t see directly to the sun. The Sun helps many living being to stay alive. It helps us to feels good during the cold day. It also gets vitamin D from sun, which is an essential vitamin for our good health.
- The Moon: It is also located far away from us. We can only see moon at night. Moon are usually round in shapes but changes it shape every day till it full moon. Moon is usually smaller than sun and has no life. Every planet has it own moon. Some planet has more than one moon. Moon usually evolve all the sun and gets it light from the sun.
- The Stars: We can see many stars in the sky. We usually see stars only in a clear sky. We can’t see stars in the morning or usually in cloudy days. Some days we see many twinkling star in the sky and some day there are only 1 to 3 stars in the sky.
