Chapter 4: “Food and Shelter of Animals” is all the animal’s food and shelter that are required. As you know, that every living being needs food to survive and as animals are also living being, they also needs foods to survive. Animals eats different varieties of foods and accordingly they are also classified:
- Flesh eating animal – Animals which eats flesh of other organisms. Example: Lion, Tiger.
- Plants eating animal – Animals which eats grasses and green plants. Example: Cow, Deer.
- Insects eating animal – Animals which eats insects. Examples: Frog, Lizard.
- Grains eating animal – Animals which eats grains and nuts. Example: Squirrel, Hen.
- Flesh and plants eating animal – Animals eats both flesh and plants. Example: Dog, Cat.
Animals also have shelter to protect themselves from heat, cold, rain, enemy etc. Different animals have different types of shelter to live.
